Trick or Treat for the Kids Who Can’t

In true Halloween spirit, UNI Dance Marathon dancers will come together on October 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. to Trick or Treat for the Kids Who Can’t. Dancers, along with some of our miracle kiddos, will be visiting homes with their porch lights on in Cedar Falls, Waterloo, and Hudson to trick-or-treat in honor of the kiddos who are not able to participate in the holiday fun as a result of their illnesses or injuries. We will not be wearing costumes, but will be celebrating #TangerineThursday in our UNI DM orange! Instead of asking for candy, we will be asking for donations to go to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital.

Trick or Treating for the Kids Who Can’t is a great opportunity for our organization to get out into the community and advocate for children’s health. The Cedar Falls community is so supportive in our mission to change the lives of our miracle families and the kiddos at the U of I Stead Family Children’s Hospital. We couldn’t raise as much money as we have in the past without the support of the community, as well as our sponsors.

If you live in the Cedar Valley, there may be some wonderful dancers visiting you on Thursday night, so be on the lookout for trick-or-treaters in orange!
