Back in August, we (the UNI DM Executive Team) sat down and planned out this past year of DM. We decided we wanted to do everything BIGGER and BETTER than we ever have before. We wanted everybody on campus to know what DM stood for and why we raise money for the kiddos we support.
We wanted to engage the Cedar Falls and Waterloo communities and get them involved in our cause.
We wanted to push our limits and do something that no other student group had ever done before at
Since August, we have been using #AM2DM on all of our advertising, social media posts, etc. and many have asked what it means. For that, we say, "Thank you." By asking what #AM2DM is, you opened up a dialogue about Dance Marathon. You started the conversation with somebody who you thought might know what it is and they were able to tell you about Dance Marathon and our cause.
