Why did you join your committee?
I joined Morale because I wanted to get more involved with Dance Marathon and lead of team of dancers who also want to be FTK each and every day!
Favorite part of your committee?
My favorite part of Morale has been the friendships I have made with the captains and the relationship I have formed with my family!

My favorite memory would be when we got to create the morale dance!

Why did you join your committee?
I joined morale because I wanted to lead a group of dancers in the fight to help kiddos who are battling illnesses and injuries. I wanted to help bring energy to every DM event and make new friends along the way.
Favorite part of your committee?
My favorite part of morale is getting to hang out with the rest of the captains at our weekly meetings. I love the excitement of planning for our upcoming events and the weeks we get to dance are a blast.
Favorite memory of your committee?
My favorite memory from morale was when we got to spend an entire day creating and practicing the morale dance for the Big Event this year. I loved getting to be creative and bond with the other captains.

Why did you join your committee?
I joined Morale for the chance to inspire others to fight every single day For The Kids. Our miracle kiddos fight 365 days a year, so we should too :)
Favorite part of your committee?
My favorite part of morale was building life long friendships with some of the most FTK people I know.

My favorite memory from morale this year was at our spring retreat when we were making the morale dance!

Why did you join your committee?
I went to the BE last year and I got to see how big of an impact we are an organization make and I wanted to play a bigger role in that.

The people I get to work with.

All of it has been an amazing experience.

Morale, Media, and Corporate Partnerships
Why did you join your committee?
I joined morale because after my first big event I wanted to be part of something more. During the big event, I fell in love with Dance Marathon as an organization, I loved hearing about the families, and being able to interact with them, and just the community of it all, and I thought that morale would be the perfect place to expand my horizons.
Within my first couple of weeks as a Morale Captain, I decided to join Corporate Partnerships committee, I joined because I had reached out to some huge companies to see if they would be willing to donate, and one responded, and was interested in supporting UNI DM, so I went to Corporate Partnerships to continue to be able to reach out to companies, and meet new people.
Then during my second semester in Dance Marathon, I decided that I wanted to join another committee, one that correlated a bit more to my actual major, which is Public Relations. I ended up deciding on Media Committee!
Favorite part of your committee?
My favorite part of being in morale is that I have gotten the chance not only to be a part of an organization that brings me so much joy, and has brought me many new friends that I get to see at least once a week! I always look forward to going to meetings and know it will brighten my day.
My favorite part about Corporate Partnerships committee is being able to reach out to different companies within the Cedar Valley, and get excited when we get responses to donors.
My favorite part about Media committee is being able to write little captions for Instagram Posts, and then be able to see them posted online and share them! It is always exciting to see them when scrolling!
Favorite memory of your committee?
My favorite memory in Morale has been anytime we film a video for promotional things or for the Big Event. Everyone is always so excited and ready to have a great meeting, which makes it a super fun environment! Then we actually film and we have high energy and good vibes all the way through.
My favorite memory in Corporate Partnerships has been just being able to meet new people and reach out to different organizations and gain confidence.
My favorite memory in Media is coming to meetings with an incredible support system that is always there to listen along with just being able to do fun stuff with the social media!

Why did you join your committee?
I was in Morale last year, and I had a fun time when I was in it making new friends. I had such a great time I wanted to join again and meet more people who share the one thing all of us have in common which is fighting/fundraising for the kids at the hospital and being FTK!!!!!!!

Making new friends and just being apart of the whole organization and making a difference.

Why did you join your committee?
Morale - I wanted to get more involved in DM and take on a leadership position, additionally, talking about UNIDM and encouraging people to get involved is one of my absolute favorite things
Fam Rel - This was the first committee I joined, I joined my freshman year because I wanted to get more involved in DM and meet more people in the organization, and I chose fam rel because as an education major, I love working with kids.
Favorite part of your committee?
My favorite part of morale is the community, you are surrounded by a team of people who care about this organization and the families we support just as much as you do, and everyone is so supportive and friendly and it is the best time
My favorite part of family relations is the families, and getting to see them and know them at the family events, the families are the driving cause of this organization and getting to interact with them personally is so cool because they are some of the most awesome people, and it makes your Dance Marathon experience that much more meaningful
Favorite memory of your committee?
Morale - doing the morale dance on stage for the first time at the Big Event last year, it really feels like a celebration of everything you've been working so hard for all year, and the entire Big Event is the best experience
