UNI Dance Marathon is a student run organization that raises money for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network. Throughout a year, all money that is raised through UNI Dance Marathon is put toward supporting four areas at the hospital; research, education, equipment and enhancements.
WHO WE SUPPORT
The University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital was started in 1919 and since then has helped countless children with crisis of traumatic injury and life-threatening illness, to birth defects, chronic illness, and developmental disabilities to general health promotion and well child care.
From our first Dance Marathon in 2012 and now in our seventh year, our mission has always been to put our families at the center of everything we do. Over the years, more families have allowed us to become a part of their lives and walk alongside them no matter what they are going through. We encourage you to explore our website and learn more about who we are and what we do.
