Why did you join your committee?
Media - I wanted to try something new that I have not done before with Dance Marathon, and I have loved being able to contribute to something that is so inspiring!
Family Relations - I was a part of Family Relations during my time with ISU DM, and I loved being able to interact with the families and getting to know them personally. They are the heart and soul of the organization, and I love getting to know the why behind the organization!

Building relationships with people who have a passion just like you!
Favorite memory of your committee?
Media - helping design some of the merchandise that was sold during the fall sale!
Family Relations - going to the park and playing with Rose, one of our Miracle Kiddos!

Why did you join your committee?
I joined media committee because not only am I more involved in this amazing organization but it also will help me learn skills to use in my future career.
Favorite part of your committee?
My favorite part of media committee is how supportive everyone is. they all just want to see you grow and are always there to help you or teach you new things.
Favorite memory of your committee?
My favorite memory would be painting pumpkins in a meeting for Dance Marathon!

I joined my committee because I wanted to make a bigger impact on the lives of families and kids at UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital.

My favorite part of my committee is getting the opportunity to get businesses involved with DM.

Why did you join your committee?
I joined my committee because I wanted to help plan the big event and the events leading up to it. I wanted to be as involved in dance marathon as I could be and help the kids at the U of I Stead Family Children’s Hospital!

My favorite part of my committee is how everyone is so kind and working together for the same goal!

My favorite memory from my committee is making Grace and Erin into ice cream sundaes!

Why did you join your committee?
I joined my committee to get more involved in planning events for DM. I also joined to get to know more people who are passionate about raising money FTK!!
Favorite part of your committee?
My favorite part of my committee is the people in it. I love going to meetings and spending time with my fellow committee members. We always have lots of fun at our meetings!!

My favorite memory from my committee is turning Grace and Erin into ice cream sundaes! I also love the attendance questions! It’s fun to hear all the different answers to the awesome questions Grace and Erin come up with!

Why did you join your committee?
As a first-year dancer I really wanted to get involved and experience some of the behind-the-scenes of UNI DM. My committees have helped me make some great friends and have really made me feel like a part of this incredible organization.
Favorite part of your committee?
The inspiring and dedicated people I get to surround myself with.
Favorite memory of your committee?
In Media I've loved all of the creative ice-breaker questions (and often even more creative answers) that start our meetings every week, and in Event Planning prepping balloons, bees, and giant Jenga for the Orange Party was definitely a highlight!

Why did you join your committee?
I wanted a chance to get more involved and do more for an organization that has given me so many opportunities and inspiration.
Favorite part of your committee?
I love being able to share create memories and form relationships with other people who are as dedicated to this organization as I am, and I love being able to get to know the families who we are able to help.
Favorite memory of your committee?
My favorite memory is from the pool party family event last year where I got to spend time with one of the miracle kiddos and really understand the why behind this organization.

Why did you join your committee?
I joined the Family Relations committee because I have a passion for working with families and kids, and love to help others in anyway that I can through being part of their support system. I also joined this committee because I knew that we would be helping and working with the families directly, and would be able to help them out in small ways throughout the year. This committee sounded like something that I would enjoy and know I was making an impact in, so I joined and I am so glad that I did!
Favorite part of your committee?
My favorite part of my committee is being able to learn more about each of the families and miracle kiddos. Although we have not been able to meet them this year, we have been able to hear updates on their stories and have sent videos to brighten their day. I love being able to hear their stories and how strong and amazing each of the kids are. I also love Andie Exline and she is one of my favorite parts of the committee because she is hilarious!(:
Favorite memory of your committee?
My favorite memory from my committee is going over all of our attendance questions each week. There is always a random question that we have to answer, and people give the craziest responses or stories to it which make me laugh. I love getting to know everyone and hear about their exciting lives.
